Turnlight · iOS
Terms of Use
1. Provider and agreement
Turnlight (the “App”) is provided by Maksim Vinnik, operating under the name Dante, Poland (“Dante,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact: playturnlight@gmail.com.
By downloading or using Turnlight, you agree to the applicable Apple license agreement and these Terms. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review these Terms with you and authorize your use of the App.
2. The App
Turnlight is a single-player circuit puzzle game. You rotate circuit components, connect paths, and complete visual puzzles. The first release does not offer accounts, multiplayer features, user-generated content, cloud saves, subscriptions, or push notifications.
Subject to the Apple license agreement and these Terms, you may use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment on supported Apple devices that you own or control.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the App in violation of applicable law or another person’s rights;
- circumvent purchases, advertising controls, security, or technical limits;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or probe the App or its service providers;
- distribute modified or unauthorized copies of the App;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law; or
- use the App or its assets to create a misleading, unlawful, or infringing product.
4. Remove Ads purchase
Turnlight may offer a non-consumable Remove Ads in-app purchase through Apple StoreKit. The price, currency, taxes, payment method, transaction processing, family-sharing availability, and refund rules are controlled by Apple and your App Store region. Turnlight does not offer a subscription in the first release.
A completed Remove Ads entitlement suppresses third-party interstitial advertising in supported versions of Turnlight. If the entitlement is not recognized after reinstalling the App or moving to another device, use Settings → Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Dante cannot directly charge a card, alter an Apple transaction, or issue an App Store refund. Purchase and refund requests are handled by Apple. You can visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple billing support.
Nothing in this section limits refund, conformity, withdrawal, or other mandatory consumer rights available in your country.
5. Advertising and third-party services
The free version may display contextual or non-personalized advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Privacy choices are managed through Google UMP where required. Turnlight also uses Firebase services for limited analytics, crash reporting, and remote app configuration. Use of these services is described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services may be temporarily unavailable or may change their technical operation. Advertising and analytics do not control access to puzzles, and declining an optional privacy choice does not prevent you from using the game or restoring a purchase.
6. Progress and device data
Game progress and preferences are stored locally. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and its backups. Deleting the App, clearing its data, device failure, operating-system changes, or restoring a device may result in lost progress. A StoreKit entitlement may be restorable through Apple, but local puzzle progress is not a purchase record and is not guaranteed to be recoverable.
7. Intellectual property
Turnlight, including its software, puzzles, level data, artwork, graphics, interface, branding, audio, text, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Dante and is protected by intellectual property laws. Apple and Google names, marks, and services belong to their respective owners. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
Feedback and bug reports are voluntary. You permit Dante to use ideas contained in feedback to improve Turnlight without payment or attribution, but you retain ownership of any pre-existing rights in material you submit.
8. Updates and availability
We may release fixes, rebalance puzzles, change ad cadence, update compatibility, or modify features. Firebase Remote Config may adjust declared configuration values without downloading a new binary. We do not promise that every device or operating-system version will remain supported indefinitely.
We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the App when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, provider availability, or product maintenance. Mandatory consumer rights and valid purchase rights remain unaffected.
9. Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turnlight is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every generated puzzle will meet every personal preference, or that local progress can always be recovered. The warranties and remedies in Apple’s applicable license agreement also apply.
This disclaimer does not exclude statutory guarantees, conformity rights, or other protections that cannot legally be excluded in your country.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dante is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic loss arising from use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. Your license may terminate automatically if you materially violate the applicable Apple license agreement or these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections or the courts available to you under the law of your habitual residence.
Before starting a formal dispute, please contact playturnlight@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue. You may also use any consumer complaint or alternative-dispute mechanism available under applicable law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, providers, or law. The effective date will be revised. Material changes will be communicated in the App or through the App Store where required. New terms apply prospectively and do not remove rights already acquired under mandatory law.
